Business Through the Eyes of Faith

OpenRDA is a company grounded upon Christian beliefs, principles, and practices. In this framework our executives have found a home in being members of the C12 Group, LLC.

The C12 Group, LLC is the leading provider of round-table services to Christian CEO's and business owners. It began as three groups of 12 Christian business CEO's/Owners meeting once per month in central Florida with its primary focus in the Tampa Bay metro area.

In the years which followed, favorably impressed C12 friends and alumni helped to extend C12’s reach via ‘word of mouth’, sharing of the discernable positive impact which so often accompanied C12 membership. As other members bought or sold businesses, or relocated to other areas of the country, other business leaders began to inquire about C12. In 1998, Buck trained and commissioned the first ‘second generation’ C12 Area Chair in Florida and began to purposefully look for ways to extend the work to other regions. The motivation for this new chapter was not financial, but rather due to an abiding sense of the Lord’s calling and the ministry potential related to equipping His followers to excellence in ‘business as ministry’.

Today, C12 exists in numerous markets across America and has been a source of blessing and life-enhancement to several hundred CEO's/Owners and thousands of employees, customers and suppliers, many of whom have come to the Lord after having been touched by C12 member companies in ways which share a bit of God’s provision and purpose. These companies range from small-to-midsized family businesses to large publicly-traded corporations. Working alongside such like-minded Christian marketplace organizations as Corporate Chaplains of America, Global Leadership (offshore business missionary focus), and Christ-centered graduate business schools (such as Regent University), C12 has developed an array of complementary products, services, and high-impact seminar events, all aimed at benefiting their members as they pursue their special calling as Ambassadors for Christ in the marketplace, stewards of His provision, and servants of those they ‘touch’. C12 is governed by a Board of Directors which is committed to serving in unity for His purpose, and whose members share a long-term commitment to C12 and its vision of developing and serving Kingdom businesses by equipping and inspiring leaders. C12 Area Chairs share a firm sense of calling and are committed to excellence in facilitating their local C12 Groups by applying the great wealth of business and Biblical perspective the Lord has blessed them with during group and One-on-One coaching settings. By doing so, we hope to be used by the Lord to change the world one local marketplace at a time, turning others toward Christ and seeing the marketplace become a source of revival!

MISSION: To change the world by bringing forth the Kingdom of God in the marketplace through the companies and lives of those He calls to run businesses for Him.

VISION: To see an active global Christian business network of CEOs/Owners, with C12 groups in every community of 50,000 or more.

DOCTRINE: Simply, Jesus Christ is Lord, the whole Bible is wholly true, God has an eternal plan for each believer's life and that plan includes their business.

PROMISE: To be an example of all we promote and to be accountable to our members and seek their correction when any deviation may appear. We serve as a resource for education, encouragement, challenge, inspiration, and accountability.

• Results – Results matter! A good try is admirable but not the goal. Results that matter are the goal of our efforts. The measures that we use are focused on actions or activities that deliver results. The results that we look for are increasing exposure (e.g., profitable growth or adding new members) and eternal fruitfulness in existing members, expanding their influence for God in the lives they touch in and through their business.


• Integrity – Errors can be forgiven, breaking integrity won’t be accepted. We will not accept or excuse any breach of integrity. We will face it, repent and make amends if necessary, and correct any found cause.


• Camaraderie – The spirit of unity among those called by God to the work, expressed in the joy we experience when we speak or visit together. We are a team of “called ones” sharing the joy of a common call in Christ. We accept our differences as God-given and complementary.


• Spiritual Growth – A commitment to unending growth in intimacy with and obedience to Jesus is the baseline we share. Without a legalistic standard but with charity, humility and repentant hearts, accepting each other as we are, we are committed to be all we can be in Christ.


• Innovation toward Excellence – We strive to constantly push the envelope past the benchmark for excellence in every dimension of our organization and work.


• Thankfulness – We will never forget that all we have is a gift from God or fail to thank Him. We who deserve nothing have been given life’s ultimate privilege – serving God through work that is meaningful to Him.
