** Attention - The demo version of Xpert is a 32bit version built for Debian 3.1 (Sarge) or binary compatible Linux versions.
Installation
1. Download the package "xpert-demo.tar.bz2" from the link above saving it to the /tmp/ directory.
2. Switch to root user using "su" or "sudo".
3. Change directory to the root file system using "cd /"
4. Unpack the file using the following command.
root@server:/$ tar xvjf xpert-demo.tar.bz2
[type "exit" to switch back to normal user before proceeding]
5. Run the software!
user@server:/$ xpert-demo
*** Files and data are stored in /usr/local/rda and startup script is located at /usr/bin/xpert-demo
*** All files are owned by the "users" group. You must be a member of that group to run Xpert. |
